The famous architecture of Palace in Da Lat

It is located on the large hill which is located behind the Hoa Binh central, end of Ly Thuong Trong road. In 197, this place is just the Commanding officer of a provincal garrison and was built to become a Mayor Palace in 1917. This is the place for working and staying of the Mayor.

Mayor Palace was designed according to architectural with classic European mansion. It was built according to square block, have a ground floor with cellar and two floors above. The façade has ladders on both sides up to the 1^st and 2^nd floor. The back has a walkway for cars. The first floor is a place for staying and working of the Mayor. Behind it has extra houses for maids and servants to stay. It also has two lake which provides water for the city center.

Palace 1, also known as the Presidential Palace or Bourgery Palace, is located close to the axle of Hung Vuong to Trai Mat, in 11 Ward, Da Lat city.

It was construted by the millionaire Bourgery (owner of Shanghai lamps) before 1940. Then, Bourgery sold it to France and Bao Dai King bought it to make the Office during he was a fuehrer in Da Lat. To the Republic of Vietnam, it had became the residence and work of the heads of state in Da Lat.

It was designed in France's Savoie region with luxurious style as a castle. The entire building was built on a hilltop in a fairly flat green beautiful harmonious campus with the extra work such as: compensation, the cellar and the Lake,.. to organize the party.

 

It is located in the top of the Tran Hung Dao street, high on a hill towards Ho Xuan Huong, Palace 2 is a place for France includes Decoux, Decoux was the last person lived there longest, so the local in here offen calle Palace 2 is a Decoux Palace.

It was designed by A.Léonard, P.Veyssere and A.T.Kruze, and was built by Sa Dec contractor and completed in 1937. It was combined beween morden and classic.

With purpose is staying and working, it had large rooms on the ground floor which arranged around a hall and it made a open space but not break the warm atmosphere inside the Palace.  Palace 2 has the door downstair and the exit door out saparately in the upper deck. There is also a tunnel in the background for the owner can escape out of the building when emergency.

Palace 3 is probably very familiar to tourists with the name Bao Dai. It was located on the hill which belongs to Ai An forest, far way from the city about 2km to the Southwest. It was designed by Nguyen Van Ninh and was built in 1939, completed in 1943.

The Palace is a surface architecture, luxurious interiors correspond to the position of the employer. That is a combination architecture between Asia-Europe-France. In particular, with the carefully calculated, Bao Dai Palace is a suitable place for staying because it has a ideal climate, cool in summer and warm in winter.

The building consists of two floors in architectural style to European, natural ventilated, beautiful campus. The entire building from the outside to the inside are scanned very elegant yellow ticks. When stepping on the inside that really amazed, surprised by the combination of rooms, modern but still retain Vietnamese space.
