Langbiang tourist area - the highest mountain in Dalat area

Langbiang Mountain, located in Lac Duong District, is the highest mountain in the area. From the top of the mountain, visitors can see the panorama of Dalat City.
In Vietnam there are many stories about the power of eternal love. But perhaps, only Lang-Biang is a true story. And it has become legendary, goes into epic, poetry, literature and is an indispensable destination when coming to Da Lat.
The Lang-Biang symbol on the Radar Hill
Located in the district of Lac Duong, not far from the center of Da Lat, Lang-Biang is a collection of the highest mountains of the Lam Dong Plateau. Travel to Lang-Biang to find out a legendary love story of the couple. Once upon a time:
K'lang (a Lat, a tribe of the K'Ho ethnic group) and a daughter named H'biang (Chil, another branch of the K'Ho ethnic group) were all at the bottom of the mountain. One time, they came across each other when go to the forest pick fruit. H'biang crashed and K'lang courageously rescued her from the fierce pack of wolves. Although they only met once, they both felt in love. But due to the curse between two ethnic groups, H'biang could not marry K'lang. Passing through the strict customs and religious ceremony, they determined to come together. They married and then went to a place on the mountain to live. When H'biang was ill, K'lang sought treatment but nothing worked. He turned to report to the village to find a way to save her. At the end, H'biang was killed by the poisoned arrows of the village which used to shot K'lang. K'lang cried so much, his tears flowed into a large stream, today called Da Nhim (cry stream). After the death of the two, Fr. Biang was very regretful, unifying the tribes into a people named K'Ho. Since then the couple in the village easily come together. The high mountain in La Ngu Thuong village, where K'lang and H'biang dead were placed is Lang Biang, the couple's name, to commemorate they and their love.

Zeep car takes visitors to the resort
To Lang-Biang Resort, we have many ways to move to the top of the mountain. Often, people will choose the form of riding the Zeep to the top of the Hill of Radar. This way is fast and convenient for those who want to see the scenery. Road to the summit of Radar is quite winding and steep, but some drivers in this resort drive as if they are in the delta, up or down steeply without reducing gas, like racing to see who is the fastest. On the top of the Radar Hill is one of the most beautiful locations to see the center of Da Lat.

Also, if you love adventure and love to explore. You can choose to check trails to Mount Nui Ong (highest), or Nui Ba. Go through the old pine forests, climbing slopes. There are steep sections, you have to climb with the rope. The trail can also disappear so you will need a guide help you go up the mountain faster and do not get lost in the forest.
